Known for his sharp wit and impeccable timing, Miller’s classic blend of self-deprecating humour and proper banter created a warm, friendly evening packed with revelations.
As a former England all‑rounder, captain and chairman of selectors, Miller offered insights that went beyond the laughs. He cleverly gave us two sides of the red ball: one reflecting the fun and freedom of cricketing life; the other addressing serious questions about the game’s past and present.
